New Rims: better gas mpg or worse? Weight of the stocks
I am thinking on getting these rims but I do not want to loose any gas mpg due to weight issues ect or have to adjust anything. I think the stock tires will fit on this but it says these rims are 16.3 lbs each.... how much do the stock ones weigh? Hopefully it will not require spacers or anything either... not sure.

As long as you stay with the original tire width, you probably won't notice any milage change. Even if you do go up a bit in width, you still probably won't notice a difference in milage. I run a 205/50/16 and get the same milage as my 185/65/15s.

The 215/40/17 tire has nearly the same diameter as the standard xB rim. The rims and tires I'm putting on mine are 20lbs for the rim and 20 lbs for the tire. I need to weigh the stock wheels once they're off. I look forward to the stability of high performance tires versus the numb, unsafe feeling of the Goodyears.
