Default Offset on the TRD 18's.

Just wondering considering that it is a 7.5 in with a 215 tire. I know alot of members here said that would have fitment problems with a 40+ offset. Thanks

TRD Catalog doesn't say, just says 18 or 19 x 7.5 with 215/35R18 & R19 tires. So if Doesn't say on the trdusa.com either, but if I were to geuss I'd say it's probably a 40 offset.

They sit pretty far inside the car. I would even venture to say it might be a 42mm

I just put my wheels on last night and they are 18 x 7.5 with a 45mm offset. I added 6mm spacers so that would bring them to roughly a +39mm. The rear def could go another 20mm easily, the front maybe another 10 bringing them to a 29-30

Im not lowered yet but will be soon with TRD springs. I also am running 215/40 tires instead of the 35. That was probably the best thing i could have done. Im sure i may have lost a lil power, but the ride quality and look were well worth it.

Got a set for stock today. They're a 42 offset. They're also stamped RH Evolution inside the rim, and the TRD Sports logo is a sticker.

Fit perfect under the TRD springs, no rub, no adjustments, no spacers.

The TRD springs and struts/shocks for the Scions are actually from Japan and made by Waydo.

I don't want to say you are wrong but how did ytou find this out. I have heard the springs are made by Eibach, but never saw anything to prove it. Never heard of Waydo but do you have any info on them. Thanks

Trust me on this one! It says so on the box... :)
And the springs are made by the same company.

Did some searching and looks like Waydo is just TRD in Japan. Kinda hard to get anymore info then that since everything is in Japanese. When I get a chance I will get a language converter and post some info.

"Waydo" is a term use by TRD for all their RV, SUV and 4X4 suspension parts in Japan. Waydo is not a manufacturer's name.

Urgh, that is right, the brand name of the TRD shocks and springs is Waydo (and Waydo Sportivo), but the manufacturer is I believe KYB? Gotta look at the actual stamping on the shock unit...

My guess would be KYB and Eibach. I'll check and see if I can find out.
