that site shows the wheels that i'm looking into getting
but what does the offset/pattern mean
my tC has no lowering or anything and i'm not sure what offset/pattern will go with it
can someone help explain to me what the offset and and patter are?

Your pattern is 5x100 and stock offset is +45. Read this to understand offset. Read this to understand bolt pattern.
