Default Performance advantage of small wheels.

Installed new Enkei RPF1s today. Saves 8.5# per wheel over stock steelies. That's 34# total. Using a common conversion factor that one pound of rotating weight is roughly equivalent to three pounds of static chassis weight, the wheel change is like cutting 102# out of the weight of the box.

For the wheels only, there's about a 51% reduction in moment of inertia.

Smaller wheels are immensely helpful on our cars. I cant even express how much of a difference it makes. I just ordered some 15" Konig Minuz rims which will save me lots of weight and thus greatly increase the performace of my box. Right now Im borrowing my friends 15" Sportmaxx 002 rims and those arent even super lightweight but they made a difference. If you want performance out of these cars definately consider a lightweight 15" rim and tire combo...
