Just get one of these and remove the stem core. It's the only way to get enough air velocity to push the tire out. I've never seen anyone mount tires with a valve stem core in place. They always put it in after the tire pops into place.



Also, make sure you lube the hell out of the tire edge!

would 205/45/17's fit on the tC's rim. The stock size is 215/45/17 so will 10cm make a difference?

Ok, so I got on tire beaded today. The deal is I used the "cheetah" pressure seater at Big 10 tires who proceeded to tell me that they would not mount any of my tires because oneof their guys just scratched a chrome rim and the boss got mad so no more custom rims. I don't quite understand the rational of not mounting tires on aftermarket rims if that's one's business, but that is neither here nor there. Anywho I did get one on, and the guy told me that if I get the others mounted (which I can do myself) that he would bead them for free. Not a bad deal since they have the right tool. Thanks for all of the help guys! Much abliged, now who has a fender rolling tool for rent?
