Default PUT ME OUT OF MY MISSERY

I have the wheels but still need the tires and springs. I have some 15x8 002's with a 0 offset. I want to lower it about 1 to 1.2 in the back and about 1.5 or so in the front. I have people telling me to go with a 195/50 and other saying 205/50. What if I went with a 195/55 would that work. I know that is is shorter than stock and a tad taller than the 205/50. If anybody has 195/55's on their XB please let me know. I am just about over this already.

I would really go with 195/50 since you are planning to lower it. This will eliminate as much rubbing as possible. The other sizes will cause rubbing, hence, causing you to get ticked off when it happens. Just my 2 cents.

Is their a tire that you would recomend? I live in Ohio and drive to Chicago about once a month. Spring/Summer and Early Fall use only.

Thanks

I personally do a lot of driving and chose the Hankook K106, many people also do the Falken Ziex 512

I recommend a tire that can handle a stretch. We carry the Hankook K106, Toyo Proxes 4 or Toyo T1-r. For the money, the Proxes 4 is the best bet. Let me know if you have other questions.

Also, going stock size is an option. Edge Racing carries the Ziex 912 in 185/60/15. There is also the T1r in 185/55/60, but more pricey.
