Default Question about warrantys and tires

Short Story: Does the Toyota/Scion warranty cover tires?

Long Story: So I get my tC and from the first day I'm having problems. First time around the auto dimming mirror and my radio lights won't work. I take it in, the fix the mirror and have to order a new radio. All good. In between that time and the time I take it in the for the radio the glue on my spoiler lip starts to seep.

So I take it in to get the radio replaced and get the lip looked at. They replace the radio and have to order a new lip. I leave the dealers and the radio cover won't close. I turn right around and lo-and behold: they're closed. 15 minutes after I drive off the lot. Ok ok.. I'll just wait for my new part and get it all looked at.

Today I take it in to get everything looked at. The rear looks good and the radio cover is working better than it ever has. An hour later.... Low tire gauge comes on. Jesus ____ing christ. I reset it, 5 minutes, on again. I get it home and bust out the digital guage. 9.5... 9.5 freakin PSI. So I go down to the gas station and pump er up. I can HEAR the air leaking from the tire now. I'm honestly not sure if the service guys did something, or if it was just plain dumb luck, but I need to get this taken care of.

Service department is open tomorrow during limited hours and I'm just wondering if I should call and leave a message that I'm bringing it in. I would look at all my warranty information but unfortantely I'm at work right now and don't have access to it. If anybody can help me out I'd greatly appreciate it.

im pretty sure that tires are considered wear and tear. so it probably will not be covered, but you can ask if they can fix it for free for all the trouble you've been through. sorry for your luck

yeah tires are a seperate issue.. but the dealer could be nice and patch it for you.. new tires always seem to be a magnet for nails and screws..

right.. tires have a seperate warranty but even if you read it.. it's a lame warranty for OEM tires from bridgestone.. nothing like the ones that are aftermarket..

If anybody cares about an update:

Nail pierced the sidewall. They told me a replacement tired would be $211 and I would have to wait until monday because they'd need to special order it.

So I just had them slap a Kumho on their for 99..

When it rains it ____in pours...

yeah i was curious how it turned out.. $211? that's hilarious, for the brigestone re92? they can keep it! i'd put the kumho on for that price too! sheesh.. I paid $150 for my pirelli pzero nero m&S! which are better than stock.. and they want more for stock.. i am still laughing

but glad it worked out ok.. could've been worse.. things can ALWAYS be worse..

If the radio plays fine and the lights aren't working chances are they're going to order a new radio for you as well.

Yeah I just told them to slap that Kumho on and in the near feature I plan on replacing all the tires then.

Thank you all for your support and help!
