Default Rare tires?!

What is up with the rareity of the stock scion p185/60r15 wheels? I went to several places all of them said they don't have it and that includes the toyota dealerships in my area. Also it would take 4-10 business days to get them in and it would be $75.00 for one tire. What exactly is making these so rare?

I'm pretty sure the local SAMS clubs around here in Orlando carry the 185/60 x 15 but in Michelin and BFG's.

just use a 185 65 15

thats the ACTUAL stock tire size for the bB (JDM) and it will give you a better ride as well

the selection is much better in that size

Soon2BxB, that's the 'stock' tire size listed in the 2004 and 2005 Scion xB Service Manuals from Toyota, too: 185/65R15...

Here's a topic on that:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=68648

This opens up a whole lot more options on tires...

The tire couldn't be plugged? I had to plug one of mine because of a nail a few months ago.

negative on the plug because it was on the side and not on the tread so they wouldn't do it because there was no for sure way to plug it. If the hole was smaller I would have used my plug kit to plug it myself but it was a hole around the size of a quarter.

as for the wheels I will have to remember that size for the future and thanks for the offer $67 tire but I needed it ASAP plus I already bought the tire this morning.
