Default rear spacer question for rims 17x7 +34mm offset

Another spacer question, I just put my old rims on racing hart type c 17x7 +34mm offset 215/40/17 tires. The front looks good but the rear is not flushed with the fender. How thick of a spacer should I use 5mm? 10mm?? and where can I get a pair of spacers and studs because the stock studs are too short. Also, I am not going to lower the car.

Go with a 10mm spacer and some longer studs. I would sugggest lowering the car about 2.25 inches.

For a 17x7 wheel setup, the rear needs an offset of around +15mm to be in the "flush" ballpark.

Peace,

If you need spacers hit me up. I got the studs and 10, 15 and 25mm available

Also, i use heat treated anf forged studs unlike H & R

Can I piggy-back off your post? I just ordered some rims that are 17x7 with a offset of 38mm. What's the spacing I will need for the rear? Also, is it going to look wierd if I don't space them? Thanks :?

I just want to clarify something. To ensure a "flush" look, one would need a +50 offset on a 17" x 7" wheel (xB)? That just sounds too aggresive.

no, other way.. you'd want a 15mm offset (with 7 inch wheels). So, I'm running 25mm ET on a 7" wheel. To push the backs out more to look more like the fronts I'd want a 10mm spacer and some studs so the nuts will still be able to hold the wheels on.

the more the offset the more sunk-in the wheel is. The less the offest the more the wheels stick out.

I put my wheels on Saturday and I must say that I might leave them as is. They are 17 x 7 w/ a offset of 38mm. So put your wheels on and see how you like them. I was driving myself crazy wondering if I should get spacers before the wheels even came.
