rim and tire size
i have a 2004 xb and was wondering if these rims and tires will fit without rubbing on turns or anything like that. thanks for the help. The specs for the rims are 18 x 7.5 offset is +42 4x100 4/114.3 . Tires are 225/40zr18 92w PRADA.
If so so i can make my fianl purcahses and get them mounted for this weekend.
ill post some pics up when im done

The wheels at 7.5 are 1/2 inch wider than we recommend and the offset is 2mm higher than the recommended range if 38 to 40mm. In addition, the 225/40R17 are one size taller than the recommended size of 225/35R18. With this combination, you could be in for some rubbing issue. Possibly, another member of the forum may have some personal experiences with these sizes.

I'm running 18x7.5 +35 and 215/40-18
My fronts barely fit, and I had to trim a little plastic (less than 1/4" x 2") from the fender well.
Anything bigger than the 215/40 and you'll definately run into some problems. Don't use the +40 offset. It will be ugly, and you will want spacers.
I would recommend going with a 205/40-18 tire size. Get at least a +35 offset, a +30 will be more flush with the fenders though. I'm just waiting on my spacers.
