Default Which rims? (pics inside)

I'm waiting on the 2006 xB. I'm about to order some rims from tirerack.com. I sort of like the upgraded factory rims. I don't want anything too fancy or wild lookin but something that will accent the car nicely and make it stand out. As a side note, would anyone recommend other sites to look at in addittion to tirerack.com? I've found they have the best selection, price and presentation when trying ot pick something out.

In the photo below I like #1 and #3 the best. Either the K1 or the ASA's in 15" silver.

Nothing against your choices and The Tire Rack (I bought my rims and tires there), but go to Discount Tire's website, www.tires.com. They have an excellent selection of 15" rims with a FREE SHIPPING promo!!!

first off...how much is your budget? second...what kinda look are you going for? third...are you gonna keep 'em for awhile? these questions will have a lot of impact on rim choices, specially the first one

sorry..relatively new to the forum and didn't realize it shoudl be in this forum.

teksno: no. i didn't realize the xB is 4 bolt. like i said, and you can see from my post count, i'm relatively new and that's why i'm posting here. thanks for letting me know. =)

i'm a little concerned though. maybe the rims are just stock photos. on tirerack.com i chose the type of car and it gave me a selection of rims. i'm assuming i would get those rims but b/c i chose scion xB i would get the the 4 bolt design and not 5.

marc: didn't know about tires.com. thanks!!

khaye: i would say the top end i would pay for rims is maybe $250/each. i want to keep the car relatively professional looking and not too juiced up so nothing over the top. silver. not flashy. i plan on keeping them for the life of the car. no intentions to swap them out.

stan & squirrel: i'm leaning towards kosei in silver as well. =)

yah, tire rack is just using stock photos... they'll send you out the correct bolt pattern...

i'd go with the kosei's as well... lightweight, pretty strong, and fairly cheap... i picked up the other kosei's (k1 ts in grey) and have had no problems with them at all...

not a fan of tire rack... but they balance tires very well. $250 per rim with or without a tire? lol....

if you wanna keep the car for a while, go for a high end wheel, and it doesnt have to be flashy, but quality is the key

Check out www.wheelmax.com. They have good prices on wheel and tire packages, plus free shipping.

bblover: yup. have looked at them on the car to get a general idea but it's still not like seeing them on there for real.

snuppy & mal: thanks!!

break: i meant $250 per rim at most. i'm looking more in the $150 range or less though. i'm just going to keep the tires that the car comes w/from the factory. i don't need anything special in terms of tires.

I know this isn't on your list, but this is what I ordered in 15X7 40 offset. They are Konig Rewinds. They only weigh 14lb each.

i 100% agree with break away...if you're gonna keep 'em for a while might as well go for high end or at least next to high end. for $250 a piece you can definetely get some decent 15's. brand new racing harts/rh evolution, maybe some used works or volks, brand new 5zigen or axis. here's mine got the shoes used from a friend excellent condition both rims and rubber for not much more than what you're willing to pay and that's for 17x8. one more thing get one with a lip, they look so much better IMO
