rolling/pulling/trimming question...
i'm going to be using some 002's 16x8 on my box. i don't plan to drop... infact i'm actualy looking for the somewhat 4x4 stance *if you've seem my recent engine/power mod posts you'd know why*.
i was wondering... if i kept stock hight or say gained an inch *looking to keep it around 6-7inch hight*, i would roll and or trim the fenders, but would i need to pull out too using 225/50/16 tires possibly?
Also, if i did pull the fenders a bit, would the bBist style fender flares flex with the new form of the pulled fender wall?
my purposes *again if you've seen my recent engine/power mod post about the 3SGTE settup* is for both on and offroad flat to semi flat *rally style* dirt/gravel roads. i figure 16x8 002's with 225/50/16 BFG Traction T/A V rated tires would do alright or maybe some Nokian WR V rated tires *if you haven't heard of Nokian, they are some of the leading performance winter tires in pro rally snow/ice and offroad tracks*. both types of tires have a pretty aggressive for a nice all season performance.
Nokian WR tread, 400A A tread wear, 96 load grade, $163ea:
BFGoodrich T/A tread. 440AA A tread wear, 92 load grade, $114ea:
regardless of what tire is matched with the 16x8 002's, wheel+tire combo weight stays between 0.5-1lb lighter then stock wheel+tire weight while still being wider and larger diameter.

this is aprox. the same as using 215/40/18 and 225/40/18 but only with a zero offset deep dish settup and no drop, what am i looking at here for before-install modifications?
