Default Rota D2 17x8.5 25mm vs. 215/45. Feedback NEEDED please!

Just ordered a set of D2s 17x8.5 25mm

I want to use them on my 215/45s. I searched on here for previous posts, but couldnt find much information.

Anyone running this setup?

Will it rub at stock height? How about at a 1.5 drop?

Is the tire stretch too much?

Anyone who can help or share pics, please do. I appreciate it!

for 17s, most ppl use a 40 series tire. You can use a 45 on stock hieght but it might rub lowered. As far as the 215, thats just fine.

I ran the same wheels w/ 215/40's. Pretty good stretch and left the lip pretty exposed. Just stay away from the curb when you park. :D

At the time, I was on S-Techs. Only time I rubbed was slightly after putting some 10mm spacers on the rear. Other than that, I had no rubbing issues.

I have a set of d2's and i'm running 205 45's on them. They worked fine for me. so the 215 is fine. the only time I had rubbing issues is when I had a car full of junk and people other wise it was all good.

here's a few pics of d2's on my box with a 2.5 drop (s techs and monroe sensatrac shocks)
This should give you an idea of how they will look.
