Default Rota Grid vs Slipstream

Question for you all you people running Rota wheels out there:

When my xB arrives in a few weeks, I plan on gettin some nicer lookin rims.

Which rims would be considered stronger?
The Grids or the Slipstreams

I just want something that can hold up to potholes etc...

I am going to keep the rim size 15x6.5 (So I can just swap tires off the stock rims)

Any input would be great!
Thanks in advance

I have Slipstreams in 15x6.5" I love them. I kept the OE tires. So far, they have been good to me. With that much tire, I'd wager you'll have a tough time hurting them. The roads around here are horrible, and i have had no issues. If you need pics, check my profile, if you want more, pm me.

Just the reply I was lookin for.

Those slips look so damn niiiiice. Now I just gotta decide upon the gun metal like yours, or the black ones.

Yeah I figure once I move out that way (Kent, Ohio) the roads from after the snow will be a bit harsh compared to the ones out here in cali.

I am all about the thicker tires for a softer ride.

I got to see the slips and grids in person today. Much different than on the internet! I must say, I will definitely be going the way of the slips.

Ive got the Slips on my Hyundai right now. 15"x6.5", 38 offset, 4x100, 195/50r15 Yokohama AVS ES100 tires wraped around them. Il most likly have to get the spedo recalibrated. At least I know they will fit so I dont have to buy new ones.

slips = spoon/regmasters knock offs

grids = rays te37 knock offs...

the grids only look good in bigger wheels...(17+)

I don't know about about them looking better in 17+. I got a set of grids in 16 and I like them alot. I'll see if I can get pics of them up for you. I just put them on yesterday. The gap look bigger then with my stock tires but I'm running Yoko AVS ES 100's on a 205/45/16. I think it's the way the tread design is.

I'm not bashing you by the way, I'm just stating my opinion (just so I don't bring up bad blood). I'm sure the Grids would look nice in a set of 17's but I got the 16 so I can't say muchelse . . .ha ha ha. I also suppose it depends on what the person who buys them is looking for as well as what kinda style. I'll post pics up later tonight or tomorrow. Fitment by the way is dead on for the front, clears the stock caliper bit just a smidgen. The rears could stand to have some spacers or a higher offset. . . or was it lower. . . well I am sure you get the idea. I'll shut up until I get these pics up.

I don't think one of the wheels will be stronger than another. Rota makes a good overall wheel for the money. I've owned a set of Slips before (although mine were stolen).

Stupid thieves, I'm thinking I'm going to get four different wheel locks, people have their stock rims jacked around here.

I know, I know, no pictures and I'm still talking. . .

Here are the pics, sorry if they are really big but I can't resize on the computer I am working on.

Hope this helps with a visual unless you're still getting the slipstreams. . .
