Rota Subzeros on xB

Rota Subzeros on xB
Alright, i can't seem to find a completely straight answer to this....
I'm really set on the idea of 17x7.5" Rota SubZero's on my new xB in black with a polished lip. However, i can only get them in a +45 offset it looks like. Will this work? I'm not really concerned with a 'flush' look...however, i realize the rears will look really tucked in with a 45 offset so i was thinking a 5mm spacer on the backs would help a bit.
Anyhow, any comments, suggestions, ideas? Please help!
BTW, i found them on machiii.net[/img]

youll be fine even without the spacer in the back.
i just bought a set of rotas with the same offset. however i got some 10mm spacers for front and back and ill be getting the rear shims... of course this is all in hopes to acqure the "flush" look.
but again, i think youll be fine... i think i remember reading that someone had some rotas with the 45mm offset and had no problems.

on the other hand...can you buy the subzero in a 15 offset? i thought rims were pretty much made in one size and if that didn't fit your car, then tough luck, find another wheel? then again this might just be my own mis-information about wheels. If i *can* order them in a 15-25 offset....where would ifind em?
thanks

No idea where you could get them, hust use Google ALOT. About the offset, I'm getting some ASA AR1's which have a +38 offset. If I get somewhere around a 10mm spacer I should be close to flush.

machiii.net offers the 17x7.5 SubZero in a black w/ polished lip. i'm just looking for the correct offset. I emailed Rota and they said they could set up a group buy kinda thing for custom offsets, but i'm not sure how many people out there want these wheels too.

don't believe everything you hear from Rota. I tried to get custom offset wheels from them for 6 months and kept getting excuses. They usually won't do any custom offsets for under 10 sets of wheels. Remember, Rotas are one piece wheels and molds need to be made in order to make custom offsets.

true... since you are just talking to the distributor and not the main company... i doubt it if they would do.. and is they would, i bet its gonna be pricey... fabricating new molds and shipping here in the states...

Ive had several friends order custom offsets from them with no problem. Who knows what the truth is. Customer service through Rota is scarce.
A 45 offset will work fine. I have a 45 offset on my 17s and it clears the rear control arm barely... OTG rear hub shims are definetly a must in that size to make it look correct.

Also, if I were you I'd get 5mm spacers all around along with OTG 10mm shims in the back... The pix above had none of that and they were way to inset for my taste. Also since your rims will be .5" wider, it may be a necessity (at least the spacers...) These are my current wheels, 17x7.5 45 offset just like the Subzeros, but with those spacers and rear shims I mentioned-
...^^^ BTW, I was told that these WOULD rub in the back without any kind of shim or spacer, so that would more than likey apply to your wheels too.

If you have to run those Honda wheels, use 2 sets of OTG Rear Spacer shims. Yes they are stackable guys. You'll just have to get longer bolts which are only about 5-6 dollars at any hardware store.

my girl has 18x7.5" Rota SubZero Black with polish lip on her xB, they fit with no rubbing at all, but a week later i installed the OTG rear spacers on it to give it that more flush look... i'll get her to post some pics
