Default Spacer Fitment

Ok, a 16x7 40mm offset wheel. Should 15mm hub spacers do the trick or should it bump up to 20? Also, would you recommend 5mm for the front or do you think it will still look good?

The rears need 1/2 inch spacers to match the fronts. PM Mike (AllianceAutoSports), he has them for under 50 bucks shipped.

Is there a big difference between the hub spacer and something like a H&R wheel spacer?

I believe the wheel spacers require longer studs and they place more stress on the hub bearings. The hub spacers simply move the whole wheel assembly outward.

Awesome, one final question for you. I'm gonna run a 205/50 series tire; will that 1/2" spacer rub with those or should it do all right?

I'm not sure about that. You should be fine but don't quote me. The tire size is the same height but slightly wider than the stock 185/60/15s. You might want to do some measuring first.
