I think it just means the DOT looks down on the parts being used on public road ways. We all know how **** DOT can be. Most headers & CAIs seem to even have a claim like that.

I got the one ton garage hub shims 10mm. it was perfect my be 5mm wheel shim from one ton garage would make it look even better. Its a very good product and took me 30 min both sides to install but make sure you tourqe the bolts.
