Default spacers

i found these 15 and 25mm spacers on line and was thinking of getting them. and there's another 25mm that converst from 4x100 to 4x114.3. should i do the conversion or just get the 4x100 spacers for the front and rear? and also should i go 25 front and rear or 15 front and 25 rear?

need you guys suggestions. was thinking of the one ton shims, but they're only 20mm
and like 20 bucks more expensive.

thanks------tom

No one can really comment on how much spacing you can use without interference of the tire with the body...especially since you have not told us what wheel size offset and tire size you are using. I can comment on the conversion spacers you mentioned. the 4x100 measurement is the wheel stud spacing of the xB....the 4x114.3 conversion spacers allow wheels other than xB wheels to be used (but you can no longer fit the wheels you have...assuming the lug stud spacing is stock), so you will not need these unless you are planning to switch to some wheels that fit whatever cars use a 4x114.3 lug spacing. In other words your current wheels will not bolt up to these converters, the studs will not fit through the holes in the wheels.

as you can see i'm using the drag dr20 rims. and i believe the off set is 38mm. i was thinking of going to 4x114.3 beacuse there are rims that i like that doesn't come in 4x100. i thought it over and think i'll just stick to 4x100 spacers.

Sorry it wasn't obvious to me what wheels and tires you are running. I see when looking at your avatar that you are...but people put all kinds of pics for their avatar Now we just need some one with your wheel and tire size to tell us whether 15mm and 25MM will work!! I would bet the 15's would be fine front and rear. How about 25mm in the front guys???? One good idea is get a set of 15MM spacers and try them front and rear on one side...see what your clearances are and then order another set (either 15 or 25) once you know.../shrug.

I've got 15mm H&R TRAK Spacers on my xB. I love them. They are kinda of a PITA to install, but worthit, IMHO.

+25 all around might actually work
I'm thinking about the same thing with my DR20s, I've yet to measure anything since it won't quit snowing

since the back is narrower i was thinking 15 front and 25 rear then it should even it out. but then i don't think i can drop my box as low as it is now. there might be major rubbing issues. so are one ton shims better than spacers or no? i think i'm just going to order a set of 25 for the rear and see how it works for now.
