Default Special Staggered Sportmax 501

Here is my setup............

FRONT
15x7 +38 Sportmax 501
Kumho Ecsta ASX 195/60-15 (24.1" diameter)

REAR
16x8 +15 Sportmax 501
Kumho Ecsta ASX 205/50-16 (24.0 " diameter)

Lowered with RS*R Down Springs and Echo struts
F:-2.0 (-0.5 w/strut)
R:-1.2

FRONT ground to top of fender = 23.50"
REAR ground to top of fender = 24.25"

I have 85lbs of stereo equipment in back.

Just so people know ................. I had to aggressively trim the fender lip in the rear to keep from shredding my tires.

I may want a spacer up front. Maybe =10mm?

Check it out!

Later

Here is my tow vehicle. The rear sags 1/4" when loaded and total trailer weight is about 500lbs.

nice set up!

ive got the black 15x7 501s right now with tein s-tech, but im changing over to the 16x8s in the begining of the year.
i plane on running a 195/50/16. how bad did your 205s rub?
you think id still have to play with the rear fender with the 195? right now ive still got a 20mm OTG in the real and im sure ill have to remove them and i was thinking maybe putting some TRD spring just in the rear to bring it up a bit from the 1.5 drop of the teins.

thease pics realy help give me a side by side of the difference of the 15x7 and 16x8.

anyway i like your set up looks real good. PROPS!

Thanks. The rubbing was pretty bad. To stuff these the entire fender lip pretty much needs to get shaved off.

I wish they made a 16x8 with a higher offset, the +15 seem to stick out of the fender.

I personally love your setup. Alway wanted an extreme stagger like that.

Thanks peeps!

I probably should have gone to a shorter tire up front, but overall I am happy with the look. The fronts need to be spaced out a little more. To me a +15 on a 8" rim sticks out too much in the front. To be honest, if they made a 16x7 I would have gotten those in the front.

From most angles the car looks really cool, sometimes if I catch it at a weird angle it will look a little funky, but not very often.

Later dudes

Yeah maybe when you have to replace the fronts, go with a 185/60 or 195/55. Then you should be able to put 10mm spacers up front.

If I were to do this I would do 195/50/15 front and 205/45/16 rear... not as comfortable on ride but better fender clearance, plus lower stance.

Man those look just awsome!! Don't mean to hijack your thread, but maybe you could help me. I have a xD with stock 16X7 5X100 with 39mm offset. I am in love with the Sportmax 002s with the wide lip (16X. The prob is they have a 0 offset. No one seems to be able to tell me if they will fit with stock tires (195s). The 7" rims have a 38mm offset, but only a 1.5" lip. I can't afford to order them and they not fit properly. I plan a mild drop later. Any thoughts?

I have very little fitment info for the xD. All the sportmax look better in 8" width though. On the xB 0 offsets need work for sure if you are going to lower it. I like the 002.
