exactly what i was talking about. In the rain if you suddenly increase around 2k rpm to pass someone than i lose traction. NOt sure about everyone else. I have stock re92.

I have bridgestones stock.

I was driving 60mph on the two lane highway and it was raining. All the sudden, my car hydroplaned, and the rear started to drift right! Then I found myself drifting, with my car sliding perpendicular to the freeway on the right grassy side of the freeway! 100ft of sliding and of mowing up grass! LUCKILY, there was no freeway signs, no dips in the grass side, no brick wall, no bridge post!!! Luckily the grass side was flat! If there was a bridge post, I would have slammed in and wouldn't be here anymore. If there was a dip or groove in the grass, my car would have flipped a couple of times!!!

LUCKILY, I am alive.

Aside from surviving, the car sustained a torn front bumper. I will post pix latr. There was no broken or bent A-Arm, rims, or body. THIS CAR IS WELL BUILT! But the tires SUCK.

I now drive 40mph on the freeway in the slightly heavy rain. Even at that speed, this car still hydroplanes.....very unsafe!!! Just this past weekend, it rained, and the same thing happened. My brother was scarred everytime it slipped grip.

I feel for waterdragon, and those who hydroplaned.

what isnt slippery when wet? they are tires... alot of torque will cause them to break loose.

why is it that all these people cant drive in the rain live in the sw? you would all be screwed if it snowed there.
