Default Stock tires on the tC

From what I have read the stock tC will come with Pirelli's. Don't know the specific model #. For those of you that do have this info, is this a poor, good, or very good tire? On the Mazda 3, many posters are complaining about the stock and 17" tire.

Thanks.

Kevin

Pirelli's are good tires, known to be good and sicky. But if you drive hard, they do wear out some what fast.

The stock tires should only last a while for most people, but I rarely drive distance and a good set of tires will last me a long time...

I'm pretty confident with 17" 45 profile tires, you'll be running sticky, but how fast would this sticky be is the main issue :D

they are gonna all season tires, and not summer performance tires, so they should last a while. This will make a little less grippy, but it will be ebough for most, and most ppl would oreffer the coninience of all season to performance, espacially out of Cali.

negative, they are Potenza which are bridgestones...lol

I'm not positive, but i think the Tc comes with hi-performance z-rated tires, the same as off of the Lexus IS200 and IS300

According to e-mail from SCION:
Thank you for contacting Scion.
The 2005 Scion tC will have Pirelli P0 tires stock.

Ok, sorry for the double post, but I de-lazy'ed myself and tried to dig up what we'll expect to get...

Just saying they're P Zero isn't helping much since there are millions of models under that name :D

Well, for starters I think we're gonna end up with all season... The only one that matches P Zero under all season is listed as an Ultra High Performance All Season tyre... (btw, I used to spell it tire... Guess I'm gonna change it to the cool way)

I dunno if this is it, but incase anyone else is wondering...

http://www.us.pirelli.com/en_US/tyre...catid=US_ASUHP

De-Lazy me cost $0.18 / minute... Someone here owes me $0.18 :D

I know this is an old topic, but I got bored when I should have been writting a paper...

The tires on the tC are the bridgestone potenza P215/45 R17's which is the same tire the S2000 has. So they shouldn't been too bad. Just a little info.
