thick tire look
hi everyone,
I tried using the search but could not find anything about this.
I would like to know what tire size ppl use for a 15" to have a "thick rubber" look.
Here are some pictures of what i'm have in my mind:
By the way, anyone know which rims they are in the last picture?
Thanks in advance

Hmmmm... Guess I don't know what a 'thick rubber' look is. Don't see much sidewall, so that's not it. At least two of those are a narrow tire on a wide rim (stretched). Maybe that's it?

The tire is not as wide as the rim so they stretch the tire to fit the rim giving it the stretched look. This one has a little stretch to it. The rims are 15x8 and the tire is probly a 205/45/15 or maybe a 195/45/15 stretched on it, not to sure.

i run 195/60./15 ties on my stock wheels, if you are going to go with a 15x8, then i suggest going 195/50/15 or 205/55/15. A 195/60/15 might be too wide, i was thinking the same thing, but i feel it wil rub

For a wider looking tire just get the tire width that matches the rim width and stay safe. SAFTEY: It doesn't hurt!!!
