Default Tight squeeze for my new rims

Whew, i just got 18' primzax 920 rims put on the front and rear of my scion. They fit just fine no rubbing, the only thing is though, they are so close to the bar the springs rest on in the back, ( what ever that is called ). They are only about 1/4 of an inch away from it. Hopefully it wont be too much of a problem being that the tires have such a low provile that i hope they wont displace too much to the left or right and rub. Taking it easy for now, seeing how everything runs out.

I highly recommand oneton's Shims, they are the best !!! But about how safe it is, I had to grind about 4mm off that bar. but this is my car with 9" wide rims and I have been running that for past 4 month with no problem, a credit card slides in and that's about it !!! take care all Sean

The TRD 19's are 19x7.5" with a ET of 40. When I was at the dealer yesterday I looked at an xB that had them on it and it had less than 1/4" clearance. It's a demo car and my sales guy told me they haven't had problems yet. As long as you have wheels with less backspacing than the TRD ones you should be fine. I was also concerned about that exact spot of clearance with my wheels, but no longer... They wouldn't offer the warranty with the TRD wheels if it's going to create problems.

I run Konig Helium 19x7.5 with a 45mm offset. Without the OneTonGarage.com spacers on the rear, the rims were right on the swing axle. With the spacers in there I have plenty of room, i mostly bought the spacers to make the front and rear fender well gap the same. (rear tires sit in a bit compared to the front on the xA and xB) The front tires rub when i turn to full lock. But it only rubs the tires against some non esential metal body parts inside the wheel well.

If you go anything over 19x7.5 you're going to have rubbing problems is what seems to be what everyone on the board is saying.
