Time for new rims on my BSP xb, bitter sweet situation.
Driving home from work the other day i hit a pot hole, cracking one of my rims, in ways i didnt think was possible. I had been wanting new rims, but not like this haha. Would these go alright on my black xb, even though the wheels are gunmetal?
Enkei RZ-5's
idk how to post images, but here is the link if that didnt work.....
http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fin...bp=4-100*9-100
Is that a good price?
Also, i have/had 18 inch wheels, and am going to downsize, do you think 17 inches would be good?

those wheels look good, and you can't go wrong with enkei.
however, if you're going to downsize, 17 might just look a bit awkward, since our wheel wells are so big. i would suggest 15 or 16 wide wheel, low offset to get a unique look.

Those would look ok but everyone has dark wheel with polished lip wheels now. 9 out of 10 tunner cars I see all have the same exact style wheels. It's getting real old real fast. This is why I love my silver wheels. I hate following trends.

What about when everyone had the silver wheels and nobody has the black wheels with the polished lip? It goes both ways.

Yea, alot of people do that, with the silver lip and dark wheel, and i like it ha..just too many options, idk if a true black would look better, or a grey/gunmetal.... What about the Enkei Dm5's? much cheaper... which is good...http://www.discounttire.com/product/...kdm5.am.xl.jpg

I think tomorrow is the day. The only question is get 17's, and have it look better, or play it safe, and get 16s. Im just afraid it will look like too much tire.... Thanks for all the feedback. Ill post picks when i get them put on....

Sick of looking? That's half the fun of wheel purchases. I'd cancel the order ASAP
Not buying tire/wheel pkg. online?
If you want 17s why settle for 16s?
Cost is nearly the same.
16's will look like weenie little stock wheels.
17's will look more like 18s without the pothole risk and better ride quality.
Just don't settle!!!

well, i wouldnt say i was "sick of looking"as much as it was sick of not being able to drive my xb.... its been sittin in my driveway for like... a week, undriven.. i think these will look aight... they were my favs i found, just hope the 16s look good. 17s would be too risky, we have so many pot holes here in colorado, from the snow storms. its rim hell here..... haha

Nah, red would bring to much attention to them and their small size. I say go with a gunmetal engine enamel. They will look clean but understated. Plus nothing looks worse than bringing attention to rear drum brakes.
