Just wondering if anyone has but a meatier tire on the stock rims (or if this is even possible). Isn't there some leeway as far as tire widths that can be placed on a rim, or am I stuck with the 185/60-15's like it or not? Please share pics if you have em! Thanks.

 

a couple of guys i know put 205\50\15 alzenies on stock steelies, they like to autocross

 

I'm wondering if 195/60-15's would fit.

 

yeah, they do, i have 195/60/15 on some rota I just picked up. they will work on stocks and ride nice, also. Bill

im running 186 65 .... thats actually the stock tire size for the bB ... not sure why they use a 185 60 for the us xB

 

I'm running 205/55/15 Fuzion ZRis on my front tires. The guy who mounted them onto the steelies said they were a pain in the butt to put on. He said he needed the help of two other guys to put them on. I think it was because of the stiffer sidewalls. *shrug*

 

do they bulge .. because of the 205 tire ?

 

i got some bf goodrich touring t/a's in 195/60/15 and i feel a hell of a difference.
