Default tire rubbing: how's this possible?

Hey all

I just installed my Work Equip 03 15x7 +25 all the way. My tires are 205/55/15. I also have Hotchkis springs and OTG rear shims. Now my rear tires are rubbing when over big bumps or cornering. How is this possible? I'm sure alot of people on here run wider tires and crazy offset without problem. How can I fix this.? It looks like the rear tires are way too flush. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

David.

I'm not quite understand what you mean. Can you explain a little bit? I have the same wheel width and same offet all around. Would removing the OTG shims solve the problem?

Thanks

I use a +25 fornt and a +20 rear offset and I rub too!!! I wonder why, Oh I have air ride and my fenders aren't rolled and I drive the car really low. That must be why I rub the fenders.

The front axles are offset 10mm further out than the rear from the factory. The OTG shims bring the rear wheels out to where the front wheels are. Did you have these wheels on before the shims? Did they rub then too?

Thanks for your reply. I had the shims on and stockers on previously and had no problem with rubbing.

Maybe that's my problem. However I don't want to stretch the tires by going 195/55. I'm gonna try to get the fender rolled or take out the rear shims to see if that would fix it.

Thanks for your sarcastic reply. You're running bags and really low but I'm only running Hotchkis which is about 1.6inch lowered. Thanks for your time.

No offense. I can be sarcastic sometimes. Your car is not much higher than mine when I drive. 1.6 prolly equates to 2 inches when the weight settles the car. Thus fenders hitting tires. you should try a smaller tire though. I bet you could get some from Discount or something. They sometimes have customer exchanges. Then you could see if it looks better.

Yea im running 16x7.5 with 15 offset in rears on 195/50/16s and have only a slight problem going over bumps (im on DF210s)

the only thing it could be i think is your tire. Discount tire direct has treated me awesome in the past so i recommend them 100%.

Thanks all of you for the tips. Unfortunately, I didn't buy the tires from tire rack or discount tires. Since my tires are 10mm wider then 195/55, as a easy solution I guess taking off the OTG shims would fix it. I'll let u guys know how it goes.

I just took out the OTG shims and it solved the rubbing problem.
