Yes, i know, i did a search and didnt find what i was looking for.

Im looking for anyone who had these tires installed on their rides. I need new tires, and im having trouble finding the Yokos that i want. And when i can find them, they cost an arm and a leg.

I currently have the NanKang NS-1 tire in 215/45R17. It started off as a great tire, but man, only 15K miles in i noticed that my wet traction was slipping ( no pun intended ). Now that i have 23K miles on them, they are pure sh*t. I would only recomend that anyone and everyone steer clear ( no pun intended again ) of these POS tires. More often then not, if the road is wet, and im leaving a stop light, i can make my traction control come on, and i have an automatic! The belts are starting to either shift or come apart. The niose is almost unbearable.

So i hear that STS is offering a $100 Visa Gift card with the purchase of any Toyo tires. I plan on calling them tomorrow and see what their prices are. Does anyone have these on their cars? How is the traction and noise? How would you rate these tires? Any info that can be passed along would be greatly appreciated.

 

I have them on my car...good tires chris, you can almost feel these tires grip then pull.

 

I just found out that the local STS has them for $185 installed. Im thinking that im gonna look one other place for the Yokohamas. Hmmmmmm
