Default Updated wheel weights database

Just letting you guys know that I've finally gotten to update my wheel weights database at www.wheelweights.net It's got about 2500 wheels and their weights listed. Feel free to email or PM me with any additions or correction as I'm going to be updating it frequently.

Axis has the Maglites listed as 11.7 and 14.5 for the 15 and 17. You've got them listed as 12.6 and 15.6. Here's a link to their specs:

Great site, BTW. Keep up the good work.

My weights were from wheels that were weighed on digital scales, so I'm confident in the weights. It could be that Axis is a little boastful about their weights or a part of it could be do to measuring different offsets. It's not uncommon to have the same size wheels measure as much as 1lb different simply due to having different offsets. Generally, the more positive the offset, the lighter the wheel.

I was going to ask where you got your weights, if they were specs or if you actually weighed them. That's good to know. I'm getting new tires this week, i might bring a scale and check them out. You've stirred my curiosity now.

Many of them were actually weighed and verified, while some of them are from the manufacturer's numbers. In the cases where you find a discrepancy between the two (like the Axis wheels), you'll know that it's because my number were actually verified or because we weighed a different offset of the same wheel.

I didn't see any Falken Wheels on your list. I don't know who manufactures them for Falken. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I have 17x7 Falken circuit spec II wheels and they are HEAVY!!! LOL. Thanks in advance.

I've only ever seen pictures of the Falkens. I'm also not sure who makes them. If I get any info on them, I'll be sure to add it to the lists.

Great, thanks. I will do a little research on my end too. That is a great link (although being as thorough as it is, it is very hard to read being sooo big). I will surely use that in the future. Thanks.

I wish that I had a better way to present the data, but the pdf files are the best that I've come up with. They're the smallest file size (about 200KB) of any format that I've found. A mySQL database sounds cool, but it would take FOREVER to get working and all of the data entered.

If anyone knows of any better ideas, please let me know. You can tell from my website that I'm certainly no HTML-guru.

LOL. I wasn't knocking your work, just a comment. It is a very extensive list and probably took quite some time to do it. I appreciate your dedication and time.

I didn't take it as a knock. I've gone over many different ways to present and haven't found anything better. If anyone knows of something better, please tell me because I'll use it. My webpage knowledge is admittedly very limited.

Just got the weight. 22.5lbs approx. You're right about them being heavy.

LOL. I figured they were when DHL brought them to my door. They were in pairs and HEAVY! My wife had to leave them for me when I got home from work.
