Default Upgraded 16'' to 17'' but do not fit.. suggestions.

i have 16'' on my scion xa 2006 right now and i order Tenzo 17x7'' 215/40 . its a 4-hole bolt pattern and so is the Tenzos and for some reason it doesnt fit.. i ordered rims from that site before and the following specs are the same accept the tire size. Well my main problem is the center piece where the 4-bolt pattern is will not fit onto the car, it's too big by 2-3 centimeters. Is there anything i can do to make it fit onto the vehicle? i have two options here is finding the answer from the SL community and i just talked with the company that i bought it from. They're going to inspect the pictures i gave them and find a solution... im not screwed or anything i just wanted the damn rims to fit on my car so i'd be on my way and not have troubles .

here's a few pics for my explanation if you guys dont follow me..

xBs and xAs have a 4x100 bolt pattern. Did you accidentally buy the wrong bolt pattern? I see that it's a four bolt pattern, but that's not enough to determine if it's correct. It should be 4xsomething. The whole that the center cap covers may not be large enough for the hub opening.

you might have gotten the 4x111 thinger bolt pattern. check that again. those specs will make a difference on sizing, which of course you know.

Do you realize there are 2 different bolt patterns on the Tenzo wheel?

I think those wheels have 4x100mm and 4x108mm bolt patterns. Rotate them to the next hole and they should work.

I looked it up and if those are TenzoR Mean-6 wheels it's a 4x100/115 bolt pattern on them.

Yea, just move it over to the next hole... It's a pseudo-universal bolt pattern.

There's eight holes in your new wheels. One set is for the 100mm bolt pattern, the other is a 115mm. If you set the wheel and it's too big, move to the next hole in the wheel, this will move you onto the 4x100. That is the correct bolt pattern for the xB. Good Luck

Egads guy's -- There is no such thing as a 4 x 115 mm bolt pattern. The wheel appears to be a dual drill wheel -- 4 x 100mm and 4x 114.3mm. Very common for Honda crowd - civics and older accords. Also fits nissans. Alot of wheels have this common "dual" bolt pattern. Cheaper for the manufacture to make.

Please try again -- their bound fit.

Default wheels on your xb

what some others saying about moving to the next hole and it will line up that is possible depending on the wheel.... and yep, it's a cheaper way for them to make them. I would also make sure you have the correct offset for the wheels too. when you are going to a larger wheel, that is very important too. you may need positive or neg offset depending on your inner and outer dimentions of your wheel well.

i'm sorry, but if you dont even realize that there are two different bolt patterns on the new rims you have, you shouldn't even be ordering your own wheels. you obviously dont know anything about bolt patterns, which is the bare minimum you need to know about wheel fitment.

a good place for you to start is there is a good article on proper aftermarket wheel fitting in Import Tuner Magazine, I believe it is the December 06 issue. check it out!

Yea, it's been a long day at work... I guess I just rounded up for simplicity sake.
The underlying case remains that they are dual bolt pattern and the OP is just using the wrong set.

Easy fix just by looking at your pics. Do what others said. Use the smaller (closer to the center) set of holes. They should be 4X100. My last set of wheels had the 4X100 and the 4X114 dual lug pattern and I always just used the smaller spaced set of holes. Good luck unless neither set of holes are 4X100. Then you got the wrong wheels!

I knew it wasn't 115, but didn't think I needed to correct him. I went back and looked again and those wheels come in 4x100/114.3 and 4x100/108. Either way they should fit with no problem.
