Default VIP Wheel Suggestions

I know about the Euroline's being the VIP wheel for the xB, but what i was wondering is what else is out there? I'm planning for down the road once i'm on air and everything else is settled. I know that if you don't have VIP wheels it aint VIP .... but i'm not doing it for just the label of it being "VIP Style" or anything, I like Japan and i think it's pretty cool what they do with their cars over there. I'm not trying to be a poser either, i've been studying Japanese for about 3 years now.

Anyhow, i just want some nice wheels so I can be VIP I also like it because as a contrast to the regular tuning "racing style" i won't have to worry about driving fast anywhere and impressing anyone with speed etc. Hopefully it's understandable.

Let me know some of you JDM guru's!

Welll the boundaries for VIPstyle wheels can get blurry. As you know, wheels alone don't make a car VIP. As long you have a nice slammed suspension, you can get creative with wheel styles as long as the are very high quality (Work brand quality at least) and have a very aggressive fitment (i.e. a lot of work to make them fit...haha). You don't even neccessarily have to have super deep lip either, you can have a no-lip monoblock and just add spacers, you can have sporty-ish wheels even (as long as they are classy i.e. chrome or polished).....

As for other brands....SSR, Wald, Weds Kranze, Garson, etc....check out the list at memoryfab.com....generally Work is the most affordable of the bunch, but you can go the used route to get the more expensice stuff too..

Nice stuff overall, i wonder how much shipping would be on some of those used SSR's

I'll probably just end up with Euroline's just because the availability, price, and where i live - UNIQUE. I think it will be very clean especially since i have yet to see any VIP style cars around here ... granted some people have some nice ___ M3's and stuff that could be close in styling, but at least i'd have the only box down here VIPed out. (Even though you guys have the North Florida thing covered, and i mean you have it covered pretty well ) ^_^

It's mainly about fit. Keep away from anything super tuner-y and you'll be good to go.

A sweet looking rim that will make you different from the ever so popular DHs, would be a set of SSR Vienna Dish wheels. Higher quality and more expensive than the DHs, but I think you'd be one of only a couple in the US to have them on an xB! Get the right stance and a high quality wheel with a decent size (17x8.5 or 18x8.5 with 15 offset) and youll be golden. If you do get air, you'd have a pretty kick booty setup!

Suspended, those Garson wheels are sick You have some damn fine taste in wheels (including your own)

newscionparts.com has the Work Equip 01s for $350 a wheel. You might be able to do cheaper somewhere else though, ive never priced them really.

Are they available in 4x100? I might be having some leftover scholorship moneys next year I wonder how hard it is to get the Garson's in the US

Based on the fact that i'm still in H.S., trying to get the rest of the parts for my air ride setup, and trying to finish my CarPC install, i'll probably go with the affordable (yet hopefully still respectable) Work Euro option ... although that still won't be for awhile so who knows, maybe i'll have a better part time job by then so we'll see...

Anyhow, keep the suggestions, websites, pictures coming!

As far as budget i don't see myself spending more than 500~ a wheel. I really love these:

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...=asc&&start=25

I talked with rishie and i'm not sure how much dajap's were but he said i could get a set like bBoxed has for $1800 shipped For a sweet set of Euro's i don't think it's too bad. I know their only 2 piece but i'd still like them. Also i'm not sure if i've ever seen a Camo box with Euro's on it
