if you get yellow wheels. its better to color match them to the car. id like these

these are Kazera KZ-B 17's by 7.5. 159 each @ the tirerack.

i think a yellow that isnt the same solar yellow won't look good. i think it would look hot

I asked if anyone had the Konig colors wheels in the yellow. Although someone attached a picture of them, no one had them on their RS2.

Anytime you go color, you gotta match, or be off enough that you can tell it was supposed to be, IMO.

Well, I painted -one- so far. I am still liking the look so I'll be doing the others in good time.

I'll find the pictures and post them here. I used Duplicolor spray can Acrylic Enamel DA1663 School Bus Yellow. It's a deeper yellow than the Solar Yellow.

I'll put the pictures here in this form shortly.

Because the covers are going back on I did not paint the ridge where the wheel cover grips. The cost of this mod was five dollars. Suggest wiping the black prior to painting with MEK. This solvent cleans the black and de-glosses and softens it a bit for better bonding of the acrylic enamel.

The phone dial caps have the original bB logo under the p.s.a. Scion logo disk. The Scion logo removes by application of a heat and with a lifting pressure. Use a hooked dental probe with spade tip. Don't pry; pull. I think the bB will look great filled in with some color.

I like the phone disk cover for it's look and for the fact that it is the "only" genuine bB OEM wheel treatment. That cover was made for the bB and no other Toyota product. Kinda cool! And free, if you ask for this cover when buying your xB.
