Default Wheel/Rim Problem!! Please Help!!

Hi everybody,

I'm new to the ScionLife Community and I recently turned 16 and got my Scion xB. I really want to put rims on it because i dont like the look of the wheel covers. If anyone can, let me know which rims would be easiest to install, cheapest because im evidently on a low budget, and biggest for the xB's wheel well.

Thanks, Dego_Red

Another alternative to wheel covers are trim rings. Cost me around $40, they just snap on, and they don't look half bad. Gonna keep sporting these until I've saved a little after the wedding... :D

Yup, trim rings will do alot for the looks of the xB for very little money.

The cheapest tire/wheel combo I've ever seen was around $700 in 17 inch.

Or you could go smaller, say 15s, for around $500

But if you want something larger/nicer, just save up your money and get the rims you really want.

What size/depth are those trim rings?

Where did you get them from?

Save up and get something good. Stance and wheels are the most important things on your car. Do them right.

That's what Im talkin about!!!

Third place mild xB SE LV car show winner!!!

These are from Checker/Kragen/ not sure what it might be called where everyone else lives. They were 12.99 each size 15's with half inch lip. {some have smaller lip} the chrome lugs came from WalMart for 3 something for a set of four. Size D. :D

My husband has gotten a lot of compliments on those things.

That's my husbands idea of a bit of Vegas! LOL!

He also says the beauty rings are old school style so the dice add to that look. lol

He's funny and taking entirely too long to decide on wheels.
