Yes, the bolt pattern is 4X100. Go to the Technical heading and go to tread and butter forum for wheel specs. I just put 17" Motegi MR7 gunmetal gray on my Thunder Cloud Xb. Wish I had sized up to 18"s.

Don't rush into wheels, roll them out up to the car, and compare. I had a hard time visualizing the rims for size and thought 17" would be okay. I think 18-19 fit the Xb's great.

Post aq pick of your Xb with wheels as soon as you decide. Good luck!

ChefScion >> Actually, I don't think 17s are very small at all. You could make up for the difference by putting a meatier tire on with a larger profile. It makes it look more agressive and pads out the ride a little bit more.

it's true...i have 215/45/17 on my xB... although it hasn't been lowered as of yet... i notice that my friends car with 215/35/18 is alot stiffer and the ride is abit rough.

i like the look of it...but once i lower mine...i think there shouldn't be such a drastic difference between 18s and 17s...just as long u make it up with tires...

most ppl use 215/35 tires on their 18s...i have 215/45 on my 17s....and the ride is so much smoother and softer than the 35 series tire on 18s.

just my opinion.

nacy and i are in the 16" club.

no, we're not black. i'm talking about wheel sizes. the xB is a different car, and bigger is not always better. in fact, i really like the way 15s and 16s look on the xb.

know what would be cool? size profile shots of the xb with the following:

2" lowering springs and 15,16,17,18,19, and 20" wheels. then you can decide for yourself. i used to think 19s were the way to go, but now i'm totally on this smaller wheel kick.

The guy at the wheel store told me I shouldn't do 19's because te tire is too thin and the wheel will bend, scratch, deform...some ____ like that but he said not do it, just stick with 18's. I want the 19's but I don't know if there are any probs. I know there's atleast 10 guys with 19's so they need to start talkin.

i have 215/45/17 on my xB

Hm... I want mine to be that size too (ur... the tire size... of course!). But, according to http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html, the side wall is significantly larger than the stock wheels. You didnt' have to recalibrate your speedometer or anything like that?

Hey all,
If I put 18x7.5 rims on an xB, what would my offset need to be?
Could I get away with 40mm :?:

Ahhh,
I found the FAQ: Wheel Fitment page in the Tread N Butta forum.
Looks like I'm good on18x7.5 w/ 40 offset. :D
