Default Wheels and Tires

Hey guys! Anyone know the correct offset on a TC for a 19 inch wheel with a TRD drop? What is the best tire fit? 225 or 235 35 19? Any problems with rubbing?

With a 19" Wheel you want a 215/35R19 as stated by both www.edgeracing.com , www.tirerack.com . www.tire.com shows that a 225/35R19 & 235/35R19 fit seems a little odd to have a tire that much taller then what the other 2 sites say. As for offset, hard saying. How wide of a rim you going with?

The series number ("profile") is a percentage of the width that makes up the height. On a 215/35 the height of the sidewall is 35% of 215mm = 75.25mm. If you increase the width and keep the same profile the tire heigh increases: 35% of 235mm = 82.25mm. So, those three tires are actually different heights.

Try this one...tire size calculator,
http://miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

For my tC...here are the numbers:

Tire Size Comparison

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
215/45-17 3.8in 12.3in 24.6in 77.3in 819 0.0%
225/35-19 3.1in 12.6in 25.2in 79.2in 800 2.4%
