i have 16x8 ssr 's and did not get quite the stretch that i wanted with the tires i got. i know diff. brands stretch differently but man, i saw 15x8 ssr revese mesh's and 15x8 ssr professional's and they both had a badass stretch while mine had a _____ stretch.

Looks like you got Kumhos - they don't stretch as nice as the Dunlops on the BBSs. Dunlops are known to stretch nice, that's why all the euro guys use them. Falkens stretch OK too.

Different wheel brands make a difference too. They all measure differently.

 

Also, tires with a rim protector kind accentuate the stretch too.

 

agreed. the rim protector flares out the sidewall and contributes a lot for the "stretched" look.

 

the wheels i saw had 2 different brands of tires on them and the sidewalls were both strecthed. mine balloon out. i was gonna get the fm901's but at the last minute changed my mind.
