Pics anyone? Anyone running a 17x8.5 +15 in the rear? Can't wait to get some "proper fitting" wheels!

This is because the wider wheel means that the wheel is already moving out by half the difference in width. For example, if you took an 8" and 9" wide wheel with the same offset, the 9" wheel will stick out 1/2" more on the inside, and on the outside. So, what that means is that if you've already maxed out the distance you can go on the outside (so let's pretend that you have an 8", +10mm wheel and that its outside edge is perfectly flush with the fender), then if you go to a 9" wheel, you will need it to move IN the 1/2" so that it will maintain the same amount of outside clearance... so this is why you'd then want a 9", +22 to 23mm wheel (10mm plus about 12-13mm for the 1/2"). Hopefully that made some sense...
But then the wheel will run into the suspension.

I'm happy with my setup at first I wasnt sure how it would look. I have Eurolines 17x7 25 offset all around with OTG spacer shims on the rear and 215x40x17 Toyos. There are pics in my gallery.

okay so this may have answered my question of "will 15x7 ET+25 with 10mm OTG shims in the rear fit my xA?"
i'm assuming it will, would you agree?
