You might wanna go a bit wider than 7.5" for that flush look.

Yea please go wider then 7.5." Do some reasearch before you buy some high quality wheels. Here ill save you some time. If you are going to special order some Work DH's here are your specs. These are relatively conservative too so youd be good.

17x8.5 +25 A Disc
17x8.5 +20 O Disc

Drop the car a good 3.5" and you will be ahead of 90% of this forum.

^---agreed. GO wider. GO lower offset. Don't buy phat wheels for that "real JDM""VIP" look everyone is talkin about in those sizes. Don't be a poseur. Buy Tenzos in those sizes. Don't waste your money on stock sizes and such. Get your money's worth.

i've been meaning to ask this for a while now. all you guys with super wide wheels and pulled tires, how does your car drive around town? any issues stretching the tires like that? it looks nice and all but i wonder about the practicality.

the handles really good with the stretched tire. Not so good with air bags though.

I'm on a 215 tire, 8.5" wheel, and goldline coils. It's a mild stretch but I drive 80 miles/day. The ride is not for the faint of heart. I've rolled the fenders and removed the plastic from the front wheel wells and there are still some rubbing issues. The ride is pretty rough too.

If you're ok with a bone jarring ride and a little tire rubbing, I say go for it, but if you have a long commute, you may want to consider other options. Just my opinion.

Thats because air suspension "usually" does not handle as well as a car with coilovers regardless if the car has stretched tires or not. I think thats what Jim was trying to say.
