xB Tires Raised White Letters?
#21
I spoke with the guy at tunershop. He said the 179 was for the 15x7. The 15x8 were 289 and they would be shipped out of Germany. He told me that the webmaster made a mistake on the page and put the same price for both rims. I talk ed to him a week before Christmas because I was going to order the 15x8 thinking they were 179.00 a rim. I wanted them so bad but I didn't feel like dropping that much cash on a daily driven rim.

As long as it's not flaking you can put tire dressing over the paint easily. I guess that only applies to sponging it on like I do too. If you sprayed it you'd be 100% fine.
For bigger shows I generally do touch-up on the lettering as the very first thing, then proceed to clean the car and then dress them last.
Anybody scared to do this because of lack of artistic ability should remember that any time you go "outside the lines" you can just chip it off with a fingernail. No big deal.
Now, who's going to be the first to do PINK??
