is it me or are there quite a few xB's running around with no hubcaps? i just bought my xB a few weeks ago and started to take notice more. i know the OEM hubcaps aren't the best looking, but what's the deal?

Uhhh, I gotta say that I'm not sure if any vehicle on the market looks better without hubcaps or rims!!! And I feel that The Box is No different!!! It doesn't look horrible, but its definately an eye-sore!!! Keep da hubs on!!!

i like the steelies, but i like my new wheels much better.

 

I almost went for the "no hubcap" look too. Glad to see some folks did. I think it looks okay. I went for the "anti-bling" look for my wheels. Check my photo album or gallery.

 

My husband would NEVER leave hubs on a car period!!! Every car he's had was on steelies until he got rims! He says hubs make him feel like he can't afford rims and since he can't why lie!

We had a Saturn SL2 with no hubs...pretty soon we started seeing them allll over the place. He thinks he started something.

My Scion got the hubs popped off one block from Longo on a street where the ppl probably thought we were hot wiring it! lol

Then the RS2...turned out of the dealership pulled in the first spot and OFF!
He will be getting rims but he likes the steelie look for some reason....I put my hubbies back on!

it does notlook too bad... i am lower which is a plus ...
i have to get new tires for my 19's first, then these come off!

 

Yes, but driving around on bare steelies makes it look like he can't affrod a $40 set of hubs.
I dunno, I just never liked the looks of bare steelies. To me, it looks like you lost your hubcaps and didn't have the cash to replace them. Maybe after a while, the look will grow on me a bit. Two years ago, I only liked silver or chrome rims. Now I have dark Titanium bronze wheels on my xA and love them. Go figure.

 

You have to get good looking lug nuts and center caps to rock the steelies. Trim rings also help.

 

Polar Whites look so much better on steelies than hubcaps.

Count me in as one rollin on Steelies with no hub caps. I actually added chrome beauty rings to my stock steelies.

IMO, bare steelies look great when they're shining clean. Once they get a little dirty, they look like you just don't care. Add chrome lugnuts and trim rings, and they can get dirtier before it looks like you don't care.

 

IMO steelies are tackie. Get black rims or paint the hubs black.
