bunches of eBay pics:
"buy it now $52" altezza black frame. We do not much begrudge this seller for adding $25 to the price for "handling and shipping"...
after all, it only comes up to $77 for a pair of decent if not eye-busting old altezzas.
Still better to my taste than plain stock lights. Really quite beautiful, imo, to not-jaded eyes.
"buy it now $62" but do add $25 for the real total. This is merchandising at its best, huh! I am not to sure I like the -picture- , well, chrome is hard to photograph.
and, again, the red altezzas from above. Do you think this red will work on an RS2?? I dunno. I think I am at risk of becoming a tail light collector

scionsports is currently offering this one as fresh jdm import for $129/pair on eBay at this moment, or for a bit more direct from their website.
simple! paintable ez! 99 bucks. This appeals.
Now, again, I especially like again the stop-light look.
Dip the reversing light bulbs in transparent, candy green high-temp paint and whoaaaa
Go! yellow caution, stop!
yam such a goofus

Feeling the stop light ones, especially color matched on a BSP xB.
I wrote a thread on how to do dark red tails in the FAQ section. It's called HOWTO: Redout Tails the Max2k Way.

formula02, I think that a lot of people would like to learn how you did such a clean job on your stock lamps.
They really do look wonderfully clean.
How about more info? If you wish to share it here this i the place. Good taste, for sure.
-thanks-
===addendum!
Max, our posts crossed. Same goes to you, to show any of yoru stuff here or techniques-- with primary pointers to your FAQ thread.. all is good!
thanks to you, too.

Well, I didn't take pics as I was painting them, but I can kind of describe what I did for those that want to try it out.
Supplies:
Kyrlon stain glass window paint Red and Orange
Testors smoke paint (model paint)
Hi gloss clear (any brand)
Degreaser (pepboys)
1000 grit sand paper (wet sanding)
masking tape (skinny and thick)
1. Remove lights from car.
2. Clean lights with degreaser
3. Mask off the turn signal and reverse light squares. Make sure you cut around the edges real good.
4. Mask off a trim line around the edge of the light and fill the center of the light with tape.
5 spray the smoke around the edge, but not too much, just enough to make a contrast under the red.
6. Let dry and remove the tape, leaving the tape covering the turn signals and reverse lights.
7. Spray the red, lots of good even coats.
8. Once dry remove the tape on the turn signal (leave the one on the reverse light) and mask off everything but the turn signal.
9. Paint the orange in the turn signal, again lots of even coats. Try to do the same as the other paint, to insure everything is even in thickness.
10. Once dry, remove all masking tape, even reverse lights and wet sand smooth.
11. Clean the light and apply the clear, lots of even coats. Make sure to apply lots of this, as it needs to protect against the elements and even out the different layers of paint.
12. Once clear is dry, you can wet sand and buff.
This is not a quick job, it takes a few days to let the paint dry all the way. So don’t rush it. I would recommend buying another set of lights and painting those, so you can take your time.
Good luck, PM me with anything questions and I will do my best to help.
