Aftermarket Sunroof

If you're going to go with a sliding sunroof, get one that slides into the roof, not above it like those pics show. IMHO, sunroofs that slide ABOVE the roof look awful, and can't be very aerodynamic. I bet they're loud too. But they are better for show, if that's what you're into. I'm happy with my $450 flip-up sunroof. I wanted to install a flip-up for the rear seat passengers, but the shop wouldn't do it because of the roof ribs...

I took tha plunge and cut not one, not two, but FOUR holes in the roof of my xB. Well, not me actually, since I wouldn't be able to watch.
This isn't the space shuttle. It's the inside of my xB!
Anyone for a game of wack-a-mole? Bring your own foam hammer.

hey i have the 4 sunroofs in my RS2.0 too. your pictures arent loading but im pretty sure its the same deal with the pop up latches. anyways i'm just wondering where you got yours done because i got the box used with the roofs already installed, and one of the glass pieces just broke. did you contract someone to do a custom job, or was there a kit available? cant seem to get a proper search result..any info u have would be great.

I really would like a rag top for my xb, that extends all the way back to the rear seats, but its just the price that I just can't deal with when I have MANY other things it can and most likely WILL go towards instead. But it would be so easy to hall a surf board then if I had a rag top!...
