Default 3m clear paint protection

I installed the 3M Clear paint protection on my Black xB and I love it.
It's worth the expense, especially if you don't like the look of a regular bra.

I bought mine on eBay for under $200 and installed it myself.
If you have the patience and are detail oriented this is the way to go.

Here's where I bought mine...I only use it when I go on road trips...

http://www.colgancustom.com/index.shtml

I bought the "T" syle bra for the hood. Keeps the bra from flapping up and down on the hood when driving...

I know one thing for sure stay away from ANY LeBra front end covers They SUCK!!!
I bought one for my xB and it was a mistake the part that goes on the hood would not stay down the fit really sucked my car got DEEP scratches on the bumper and numerous other scratches and when I Emailed and called the company they would not offer any help as far as a refund on the phone and would not answer my emails. Well that's my 2 cents

I agree with LVBoxman, LeBra Sucks. The hood part flaps violently above 50mph.

Default ...Best bra is NO bra.... anybody disagree?

The best bra is no bra.
I recommend the cleat bug deflecror. $65 from autopartswarehouse.com

It is there but you can't see it to well unless you are very close.
It acts like a lighted ornament at night.

I do a lot of rural night driving and bugs are a huge issue, so I wanted full front coverage, not just the hood like the dealer bra. I have a 2 piece with matching mirror covers.

I know a lot of people rave over the clears, but I personally like the look of a real bra, so I got a Colgan. It fits great, no flapping or gaps.
I've had bras on my cars before and I have never had any problems with rubbing or paint fading. Just make sure you install it right and take it off to be cleaned every so often (I do mine once a month)
The only negative I have to say about Colgan is the customer service.....they're morons.

That looks NICE. I've been wanting to get a bra ever since i bought the xB. I do a lot of out of town driving. and Living in Kansas, near TONS of farms, there's millions of bugs. I hate it.
Which Colgan one did you get? I'm looking at the site right now but it's confusing me. Also what head light bulbs are those?

They look good to. hehe. (sorry, I'm new to seeing all these nice things on Scions. I'm new to the scene. hehe)

Still loving my Colgan also. Those clear bras are nice if you can afford them but you must have them professionally installed from day one of ownership. I plan on going clear bra later after the front end gets repainted. I waited a year to get the Colgan. Bad descision on my part to wait.

Mine is PR1272, the original 2 piece. If you look it up online the only option is 2004, but obviously it will fit all years. They just have not done an "official test fit" so they will try to tell you it may not fit a newer model.
The fit is great. I let it sit in the sun for a few minutes before the first install to help it stretch. The first time you put it on you do have to tug on it a bit, but the final fit is perfect.

My headlights are just overlays. www.headlightarmor.com It's the HID blue color. I get a ton of compliments on them.

Yes, the edges do show, but aren't even noticed by most people, and when they are noticed, they look like they belong (at least as much as the various seams and lines already there from the factory...).

In ANY case, I feel that a few nearly unnoticed straight lines look a LOT better than either a black padded bra or terminal road acne.

Be glad you got a white box. Dark colors end up having wax buildup around those edges bad.
