Hi Everyone.

My 2006 xB arrives later on this week and I want to have a bug deflector by then.

I have decided on the Lund or the Wade. Both have the clear plastic and the look I want.

Both install without tape. The Lund with plastic pop-on rivet "screws" and the Wade with metal screws. Both use the holes already there.

The Lund had the small rubber bumpers to protect the paint. I had a GT Styling one in the past and had no problems.

The Wade doesn't touch the paint, it has an inch and a quarter gap.

My questions...

Has anyone seen both? What are your thoughts?

Does the Wade look strange because of the gap?

I got the Lund clear one. The label that says LUND can be peeled off. Wade is a permanant ad for wade products on your car. See these two threads with photos:

Great reduction in number of bugs hitting my windshield. If they do hit, they hit the top part of the windshield.
