Well, he did ship them US Postal Service... using standard shipping so shipping costs wouldn't jump 3x..... during the Christmas mailing season... and mine's going cross country.... so I'm thinking two weeks.
No rush EZ, it's too damn cold to paint anyway.

haha, I love that xB model. When it transforms, the engine cover forms the gun, it even has the Toyota cowboy hat logo and VVT-i on it. I want to repaint it to match my paint scheme and get rid of the stupid flame but there's just sooo damn much purple.
EZ, have you ever messed around with thrying to put an emblem on the steering wheel? I'm thinking about it but need a softer material so I don't get hurt if the airbag ever goes off.

Logo would be easy to cut, the hard part would be making a backing or mount that would fit flush with the curve of the center steering column. I've been debating about making something in clay or sculpting foam, then making a mold and casting it in resin. There's a similar post on doing this with the xB logo on club xB to get custom logo colors. I'd probably use your front emblem for the mold as well. If I'm successful, the process would lend itself to mass produceability, either unpainted or with pigment tint.

Got them yesterday evening, now I'm figuring out how I want to shape them. Don't know whether to stick with the original round curve or go for two angled straight lines. The do fit over pretty perfectly, even over the 25 mil film on the headlight. I went to check out the auto shop on the Navy base I work at, it'll give me a warm garage to do fitment and such in. They won't let me glass though, something about HAZMAT regulations. My resin has to be causing less cancer then all the radar towers they have out here.
