Default Eyelids... suggestions/solutions

Ok.. so I go to my local vinyl graphics shop (they do awesome work btw) www.speedgraphics.net, and get me a bunch of 3M black vinyl. After a few hours of screwing around and being picky, I finally get the right template, exactly like the Fabulous IST. Im all happy, proper cleaning done etc etc. everything looks great. The vinyl was a bit tough working around the curves of the headlight but it finally set in place. Worked meticulously to squeegee all the air out while the vinyl dried in place.

Now heres the problem.... the 3M is NOT liking my PIAA Super Whites AT ALL!! From afar and at night it looks great. But when you get up REALLY close, like everyone does to look at them and say "how cool", the vinyl is wrinkled, really slightly, like I said you have to really get close to see it... but it is. The 3M is not responding well to the heat created by the PIAAs. Imagine if I had my HIDs in already... toasty

Is there an alternative manufacture..maybe some high heat stuff? How about an alternative to vinyl? Like the smoke spray or something? Suggestions pls

You can always ask Blue Batmobile uses for his overlays... I wonder if he'd tell you...

Also, where'd you get your PIAAs? Which ones did you get? I'm thinking of getting a pair for my xA at Speed and Truck World...
