I have the lights already but I was thinking about getting a new CF lower lip. In your opinion, would you drill into the new CF Lip for these lights? Im kinda undecided right now. I don't want to spend $40 on those stupid grill things either, but I don't want to drill into a brand new $250 CF lip either.
you could drill in top the to side. that's what i did with before i cut into my lip. it's alittle harder to mount but it's less noticeable. so if you ever decide to take it off there won't be screw holes to be notice. that's a choice. and also who says you have to buy the grille either go junk yard or take it off a box of your rival that you don't like. it my sound dick headed but that is what i did. plus i know that it's a rip off. 40 bucks for only one grille. they crazy.

The only problem you may have aesthetically is that you are removing a rectangular piece of the grill and replacing with a round fog. This may result in an odd amount of space between the fog, grill, and surrounding bumper. Mainly it depends on your own taste and how good you feel it looks. Good luck

Here are a couple of variations to this fog light mod, not exactly what you have, but this may show you how easy it can be to change it up a bit:

Yeah, they just take standard H3 bulbs. I switched mine out right away with Luminics.

Here is an idea for you. There is a small hole in the top of the assembly, I placed a Green LED 194 bulb thru the hole. So now when the fogs are off I can flip the switch and light up the fogs green. It matches the LEDs in my headlights
