Fog lights for lower grill Search
#401
I think yellow lensed lights in the bottom grille look better anyway.
They are difficult to aim properly, they may just shine on the road.
I'm sure you could find some blanks to put in your bumper easily.
I need to hook mine up, I think I didn't ground the fuse to a strong ground and the lights stopped working.
I may just fuse-tap the lights fuse and use a relay to run the fogs.
I got the kit from Walmart for $17 haha.

To ScupperSkipper:
I have bought from Scionpartspeople.com:

I have bought from Scionpartspeople.com:
- the Scion manufacturer's fog lights.($76.56 plus about $16.00 shipping, from Washington State to SW Florida). I followed the instructions and had absolutely no difficulties installing them myself. Included all parts, with switch and relay. Can't see why anyone would mess with the Ebay or Brand-X lights.
- the Spoiler
- Yakama Roof Rack
- Front End Mask
- Rear Bumper Applique
- Cargo Liner
- Floor Mats, front and rear.
- Cargo Mat
- tail light garnish
- Scion license plate frame
- Center arm rest
- Door sill enhancements, front
- Cargo Net
- Cargo tote
- Cargo cover.

Sorry to bump, but where on scionpartspro were these for $76.56? The only ones I see are $236. Am I missing something?

Ok I am sorry if this has been covered but I finally gave up looking after reading 15 of the 21 pages. To mount the lights it appears some cut out the plastic on either side of the honeycomb on the bottom grill, but I noticed it has a arm that pushes against the metal behind it as well as securing the very bittom lip to the middle bumper. Does removing this cause any type of rattle or looseness (not sure if thats a word)?

I can't believe its been almost 5 years since I've had these fogs...Since then I've had three other types. I took a set of dual halos apart and used the projector for some. They worked out nice AFA functionality, but they didnt flow well, just looked out of place. Then had the foglight from a Maxima, the one when they had them inside the headlight housing. Painted them with stain glass paint, but it rubbed against the billet grille and came off. Now Im using the small ones from Wal-Mart. I covered them with the yellow vinyl film. I only did the fogs for the yellow fog/HID look, dont care about light output. I mean its drowned out by the HIDs...
Cant find one of the Maxima ones, but you cant see them that good because they were behind the grille, and they were in the middle instead of the lower one.

I went into walmart today and there was 1 last set of Blazer all weather fog-lights looked almost yellow with some blue-ish, hen there was some regular white sets from a different brand, both for 20 dollars.
I seen some of you installing this on the bumper it self, how is that works, you know with that shaking, since its not part of the frame but plastic, do they shake alot when moving?
And which ones are better, Yellow or white?
They were like this ones but alittle more on the yellowish side, i think.

There is some shaking with the lights when driving on bumpy roads and such but it's not terrible, the stock fogs also shake at times since they are mounted to the bumper and not anything rigid on the front end.
The hardest thing with the blazer fogs is getting them straight and level. They look amazing though when installed correctly, I think yellow fogs look the best but it's all owner preference.
And if you decide to get these fog, I would gladly take your lower grill end caps off your hands.

And if I can snag a set for cheaper than stealership prices I'm down. Lol I'll spend $600 for a steering wheel but not $25 on something my box needs...where are my priorities =^.^=

Looks good, one thing you can do to prevent the water from getting in there is pop the lenses off and seal them with silicone. I would have guess being all weather fogs they would be water tight.

Funny you said something, because i almost got those when i picked up the last of the Blazer from walmart the other day, i had both of them on my hand, but at the end decided to keep the Blazer because that's what the guys in the thread said to get
