I've been following this mod and I have (at least) one question. How do you get to the lower grill sections? "crawl" under or lift the front and is it bolted?
Thanks for any help.

I would spread them apart. Maybe about an inch or two from the edge of the licence plate. Just so it doesn't look buck tooth.

If you're talking about the grille inserts, the just pop out, some pull from the front, I find it easier to reach under and push out from behind. Hope that helps.

Yeah just get a flat head screw driver, place it between the outside grill piece and the inside "grill" and slightly pry the grill piece and it will just pop off. It was weird one of my grill pieces just popped off, while another one of mine had a long plastic "hook" like thing that hung onto the car after the grill piece came off. Almost to keep it hanging there in case it ever accidentally fell off

Not trying to be rude but what is the point of having both the stock fog lights and those ones in your lower grill?

The wife wanted the stock ones and I told her they won't do much. ( I guess she likes to look at the side of the road while driving) But eh, you know them find out the hard way.
Planing to put the 100 watt H3's in there that will shed some light on things in front where you need it.
I drive a 95' Chevy 4x4 to take me fishing and I got something close to that set up up front on there and it works great for me. And if it doesn't work then I just out $30. bucks.
Plus it's something other than the Blazer's, and since they are cheap and no holes were drilled to mount them I could change them out for something else.

Hey... I wasn't dissin with the Pep Boys comment. I got mine at Wal-Mart too. I was thinking about putting some behind the mesh in my top grille, but don't know still. Check out my profile to see what I'm talking about. I was thinking about putting some that are about 1" high and 4" wide in there. Tell me what you guys think.

None taken. It's all about the box and doing what you want.
And as we all know wallmart is cheap and if we want to change it the wires are there just swap'em out.

I have the factory ones and some aftermarket ones too. Just installed yesterday, I did it to cover up the supports on the bottom part of the grill. Will post pics later.

Another question: Is the switch location in a 06 Xb next to the Airbag indicator?
