Yeah I am lookin to put in 3 switches but have the airbag on/off indecator in the middle of the other two switch blanks. is there a mod to remove the air bag lights or am I going to have to put some switches for the fogs and cold cathodes on the center console under e-brake?

i have 2 switchs on the center console, LEDs on the ends of them. To the left of the steering wheel, i have 3 switchs with the safety covers on them, us to go to my fogs, 3 mount on that slim area next to the door "when its closed".

The 06 boxes got screwed for switch spots. There's only two precut blanks. And we still have the nonfunctional bump below the HVAC controls from the 05 airbag indicator. Bogus...

Here's the one I got from a local walmart. It's different from the picture in page 1 but the item # and product # are the same.

Mine's an '06 and has 3 switches. I believe it's the '06.5 that also comes with steering wheel radio controls.

Thanks for the switch question answer, now, how is the best way to get through the firewall? On the driver's or passenger's side?
Is it through one of the "rubber boots"? If so, do these pull loose and you stuff the wires through? The passenger side rubber boot has two "ears" that stick out. Seems like you could snip off the end off one of the "ears", run the wires and then seal the "ear" with shoe goop or something.

I've had these sitting in my living room for a few weeks now, I don't want to drill into the lip unless I'm positive of the fit.
Does anyone have measurements for the holes? Distance from the side of the lip, and from the back of the lip? Thanks.

I know they fit, I actually meant more where the hole should be drilled...

measure the light and put those measurements on your lip. All i did was put the light where i wanted it and made a little indentation, then went under and drilled a hole. Simple Simple Simple

Thanks, it's still too cold here to make a go at it, once it warms up I'll give it a shot.

I just bought these at WallyWorld last week.

I got a set of H3 Silverstars to go in them as well.

No install yet...currently compiling MANY parts.

Wonder why they moved them? I've always thought about seeing if I could relocate mine back to the original position as it seems odd to me to have the that space going to waste.

^same here.

Anyway i almost died last night trying to install these only to have the left one not work and then the right one burn out. I went and bought another set and it didnt work either. I dont know what the hell happend. I grounded the damn things on that screw on the radiator support. But i switched through 2 lights and it wouldnt go on. Then somehow the other just stopped working as well.

I think there might be problems with the ground, try touching the ground on the one that won't light up to some other metal to see if that will work. I had the same problem
