How about something like the TRD hood that they made for the mk IV supras?

Something like the bbist hood but with more detail work. Because that hood is sick!

put the vent on the driverside...and then I see a fabrication that would involve a forced air intake that would actually use the vent system almost like a blower.....

You make it sound like a cowl induction hood. If you make the bulge low and wide, you can line it up with the lines of the grill -- I think that makes it look like it was supposed to be there.

That looks pretty tight. Maybe on the sides where it bulge up, i can make it vented with grille...that can be a idea.

I can actually see this design on a xB...this would be easy since my manufacture have the design for this already...pretty much just cut a paste for them...How about this hood? The hood i just produced for the M3..GTR but i dont think the xB hood has eenough room for something like this tho

THAT'S WHAT I'M TALK'N ABOUT!.

It would be cool to have that top xB grille as a part of the hood to smooth out that area. Think: RS 3 grille only smoother and no break from grille to hood. However, what would have to used hood pin's due to the fact you couldn't reach the hood release anymore.

That would be all kinds of bad a$$!

I like the drawing as well. No need to vent it.

I love the bBist reverse cowl hood! I think something like that would look sweet with only one cowl instead of two.

SOLD!!!! ill take one. but ill take it in steal or fiberglass. i think CF would be too much for that shape of hood. painted to match would be awesome. or... painted with the CF bulging out teh middle?!?!?! pure sex!!!

um... ill take one in CF please!!!

maybe im crazy but i think a subaru hood scoop would look pretty chill on the xB. maybe not the full height but chop a half inch or full inch down and mount that on there.

that is my plan whenever i can get my hands on a subaru scoop, mold that on there and see what it lookslike.

Are any of these going to be made soon? We had a guy move in to town and his RS 2 looks great. I need to step it up and soon!

This is what the drawing is trying to show -- you can think of it as a reverse hood scoop that faces the windshield instead of the grill.

Side angle:

As you can see in this thread, there was a lot of interest in this when it was discussed before:
